IR220LR: Ruggedized IR Computer Adapter

The ACT-IR220L (Standard) or IR220LR (Ruggedized) attaches to the RS232 serial port of desktop PC to give the user wireless data transfer for record synchronization, file back-up and network access, directly from IrDA compatible devices. No external power is needed!

These ACTiSYS adapter models have already been built into Windows 95 and many PC link software for HPC, PDA and digital camera! They are compatible with any IR or IrDA communication protocol specifications.

IR220L is IrDA-1.0 compatible that has data rates of 9.6, 19.2, 57.6, 115.2K bps. It can reach communication distance of 0 cm to 100 cm with no external power!

IR220LR(Ruggedized) is ideally suitable for the ruggedized applications like warehouse, industrial, medical, etc. and is compatible with IrDA-1.0. It can reach communication distance of 100cm, through a long 500ft CAT-5 cable from standard RS-232 port. No external power is required!

IR220LR can endure tough weather or environment to give you a reliable and convenient IR wireless communication link. It operates under extended temperature range from -30^oC to 70^oC (-22^oF to 158^oF) and meets NEMA specification (passes drop test, direct hit test, water proof test)
