CAPTAIN RICK'S WORK PHILOSOPHY:
"Put some Hustle in your Muscle, Put some Pride in your Stride, Put a Smile in your Style"

Excuses make you feel better but they don't put money in your pocket. You might think this place is disorganized
but if this place was organized, I really wouldn't need you. It's easy to criticize a job, but only those with real
character and integrity will stick it through and get the job done.

If that does not get the point across to you then try this:
Work Hard, Learn Fast, Follow Instructions, Keep Busy, Shut Your Mouth and DON'T PISS OFF THE BOSS!
If you are a high maintenance person or were born with a silver spoon in your mouth, this is not the job for you.
Do you agree to abide by Captain Rick's work philosophy and the

1) POSITIVE METAL ATTITUDE:
Also know as PMA. I expect everyone to display a positive mental attitude when on duty. Attitude is by far the most powerful tool we
humans have available to us. Attitude can end a War or start one. We all have to work for a living, let’s make the best of it. A positive
outlook and a sense of humor are always refreshing.

2) TEAMWORK:
We are a team and our purpose is to provide a good experience for our passengers. I expect all Crew and Staff to be ready to assist
each other, and to display flexibility when new assignments are given. I never want to hear "That's not my job"

3) ARRIVE TO WORK ON TIME:
If you are going to be late call me and tell me. I expect you to make necessary transportation arrangements to get here on time.
There is always traffic and this is not a valid excuse to arrive late. Also, arriving to work late disqualifies you for any tip or bonus for
that event. DO NOT SHOW UP WITH FOOD AND THINK YOU WILL BE ABLE TO EAT IT ON THE JOB.

4) CELL PHONES:
Turn off your cell phone when your shift starts. Other than extreme emergencies, cell phone calls are not permitted while on duty.
Please conduct personal business on your own time. It pisses me off when I need to give you instructions and I find you talking on the
phone. It pisses me off even more if you don’t hang up right away!
NO TEXT MESSAGING.

5) PAID WORKING FOOD BREAKS
Eating is only permitted during a break or after working 4 hours. Generally during chartered events, you will have a SHORT paid
working break where you may eat some of the event food. DO NOT EAT UNTIL ALL GUESTS HAVE BEEN SERVED AND YOUR
SUPERVISOR INSTRUCTS YOU TO DO SO. DO NOT ARRIVE TO WORK AND THEN BEGIN MUNCHING ON RIVERBOAT FOOD.

6) REQUESTING TIME OFF
If you need a day off for any special reason, you must email me a request in advance before I send out the schedule. Once the
schedule is emailed,
HOURS ARE FINAL .

7) SMOKING
:
You should consider quitting. Crew and Staff are not permitted to smoke while the Riverboat is underway. If you must smoke, do so
before the start of your Shift. Do not smoke during boarding or in front of passengers. If you are a heavy smoker then you should
open your own business where you can make your own rules.

8) WORK LOAD AND ASSIGNMENTS:
Each Crew and Staff member is expected to complete all items on their checklist. In addition, I may assign additional duties that are
not listed. After completing all items on your checklist, you are to assist others and ask for additional work.

9) CLEAN UP AFTER DOCKING:
The time for clean up after docking is one hour. If you finish your work early, you are a great employee. Now show how really great
your are, help others finish their work. Ships policy is that all crew and staff leave together.

10) BONUS FOR A JOB WELL DONE.
I no longer negotiate with the Charterer for a crew Gratuity. Instead, I may pay each deserving crew or staff person a bonus up to
25% of that days Pay. In order to receive a Bonus, you must be on time, participate in all of the after docking clean up, and not piss
me off. IN ANY EVENT, I will decide how the Bonus is distributed
if any. Your Bonus is confidential, do not disclose to other crew
members the amount you receive. This doesn't mean you get a Bonus every time you work or just because you think you worked
hard.
Working hard means you get to keep your job. The Tip Jar is for the Bartender only, and the Bartender is not part of the
Bonus Program

11) FRATERNIZATION:
DO NOT HIT ON PASSENGERS.

12) PROFANITY:
Vulgar language is prohibited . NO CUSSING! Especially in front of passengers.

13) PHOTOGRAPHS
Any and all photographs taken while on company time are exclusive property of the Company and will be used for various
advertisements as deemed by the Company without compensation to the employee.

14) THE RIVERBOAT OWNER'S PHILOSOPHY:
Work hard, learn fast, follow instructions, stay focused, keep busy, and DON'T PISS OFF THE OWNER

15) RIVERBOAT OWNER’S REMARKS
The BUCK STOPS HERE, I sign the checks, Ultimately, I have to deal with all of the problems and so I give the orders. Please forgive
me for being blunt. I know I sometimes act I like I own the Boat.
